This policy explains how phuyai Drive Sync accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data, and what this website, www.phuyai.cc, records about its visitors.

phuyai Drive Sync is a personal tool that keeps a Google Drive in two-way sync with a folder on a computer. It is operated by the owner of the domain phuyai.cc for their own Google account only and is not offered to anyone else. In this policy, "the owner" is that person: the operator and the only user of the tool.

1. Google user data the app accesses

phuyai Drive Sync requests one Google permission: the Google Drive scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive ("See, edit, create, and delete all of your Google Drive files"). With it, the app accesses:

• File and folder information in the owner's Google Drive: names, folder structure, sizes, modification times, file types and checksums.
• File contents of the files in the owner's Google Drive.
• Access tokens: when the owner authorises the app on Google's consent screen, Google issues an access token and a refresh token, which the app needs to call the Google Drive API on the owner's behalf.

The app requests no access to any other Google service, such as Gmail, Contacts, Calendar or Photos.

2. How the data is used

The data is used only to provide the sync the owner asked for:

• to list the files in the Drive and in the local folder and find out what changed on either side;
• to download new and changed files from the Drive into the local folder, and to upload new and changed local files to the Drive;
• to delete a file on one side when the owner deleted it on the other side;
• to keep the file listings that rclone, the open-source program the tool is built on, stores on the owner's computer between runs to detect changes.

The data is not used for any other purpose: not for advertising, not for profiling, not for analytics, and not to develop, improve or train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. No person other than the owner reads it.

3. How the data is stored

• Synced files are stored in the owner's Google Drive (by Google) and in the chosen folder on the owner's own computer.
• Access and refresh tokens are stored only in rclone's configuration file in the owner's user account on the owner's own computer.
• File listings used to detect changes are stored only on the owner's own computer.
• The app talks directly to Google's APIs from the owner's computer, over encrypted HTTPS connections. No server of the operator receives, stores or processes Google Drive data; the server that hosts this website has no connection to the app.

The data stays as long as the owner keeps it; the owner can delete the local folder, the file listings and the stored tokens at any time (section 6).

4. How the data is shared

Google user data is not shared, sold, rented or transferred to anyone. There are no third parties, no advertising partners, no data brokers and no analytics services. The data moves only between Google Drive and the owner's own devices. Google stores the Drive itself under Google's own privacy policy.

5. Limited Use

phuyai Drive Sync's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Revoking access and deleting data

• Revoke access: remove phuyai Drive Sync from the Google Account's third-party connections at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. The stored tokens then stop working and the app can no longer reach the Drive.
• Delete the stored tokens: delete the Drive remote from rclone's configuration (rclone config delete <remote>) or delete the configuration file.
• Delete local copies: delete the synced folder and rclone's file listings on the computer. Files in Google Drive are managed in Google Drive itself.

7. This website

This website, www.phuyai.cc, only describes phuyai Drive Sync and its policies. It has no sign-in and no forms.

• No cookies, no tracking: the pages set no cookies, run no scripts, use no analytics or tracking services, and load nothing from other servers (no external fonts, images or scripts). Your browser fetches only this site's pages and one stylesheet.
• Server request log: the site runs on a rented virtual server. Its front-end web server (Caddy, which also handles the HTTPS encryption) writes one log entry for every request it receives. An entry contains:
  • the date and time;
  • your IP address and port;
  • the request method, the host name and the requested path with its query string;
  • the protocol, and the encryption details of the connection;
  • the request headers your browser sends, such as the referring page (Referer), the browser identification (User-Agent) and the preferred languages (Accept-Language); cookie and authorisation headers are logged only as "REDACTED";
  • the response status, the number of bytes received and sent, the response headers and the time the request took.
  The web server that holds the pages behind it logs no requests.
• Purpose: the log is used only to operate and secure the server, for example to find errors or to recognise abuse. It is never shared, not analysed for statistics and not combined with other data.
• Retention: the log is kept only on that server, in a rotating log limited to five files of 10 MB each. When the limit is reached, the oldest entries are overwritten. How long an entry lasts therefore depends on the amount of traffic, not on a fixed number of days.
• Other services: the domain's name service is provided by Cloudflare (DNS only: Cloudflare answers name lookups but does not see your requests to this site). The HTTPS certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, which receives no information about visitors.
• E-mail: messages to info@phuyai.cc are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the owner's personal mailbox. They are used only to answer you and are not shared.

8. Changes to this policy

Changes are published on this page, with a new "last updated" date at the top.
